54 Auto and RV started as a small car dealership over 24 years
ago. Today, 54 Auto and RV is a strong, growing RV dealership
in the Wichita area. Dave Pirtle, owner of 54 Auto and RV,
bought seven trailers just to see what kind of business they might
bring. When those seven sold in a short time Mr. Pirtle decided
to sell the remaining cars and start a RV dealership. Over the
years 54 Auto and RV has grown with a new 3,000 s.f.
office/parts facility in 2000 and a 5,000 s.f., 5 bay service facility
in 2003. They are planning to build a new 5,000 s.f. covered
building to house new and used units. Steadily increasing
inventory and giving customers superior service over the years
has made 54 Auto and RV one of Wichita's longest standing
dealers in the area. 54 Auto and RV has had the same ownership
and location longer than any other dealer in Wichita. Jarod,
Dave's son, general manager of the dealership has worked there
since he was 10 years old. Starting out washing and detailing
trailers, Jarod knows every aspect of the RV business. Jarod can
help customers with parts, service, sales and financing.
